Chief Executive Officer

Conner joined Specialty Insurance in August 2014. He developed knowledge of the policy and coverages while in the Underwriting department during his position as a rater. His interest peaked in claims and so began his transition as a Junior Claims Adjuster. Within months Conner became licensed in multiple states, and his underlying knowledge of coverage allowed him to quickly grow an affinity to claims handling. In 2019 he left Specialty to set up his own retail agency The Moffett Agency.  When Barry Moffett passed away unexpectedly in July of 2022, Conner returned to Specialty to continue his duties and assist in the future of the company. Conner is now actively engaged as the President & CEO of Specialty.

Vice President & Chief Underwriting Officer

Warren Burker has been employed by Specialty Insurance Agency since 1988. Before joining Specialty Insurance Warren was the Underwriting Manager at Security Indemnity Insurance Company. Warren has also held management positions at The Hanover Insurance Company, Prudential Insurance Company of New Jersey, and Home State Insurance. Mr. Burker is a graduate of Wagner College.

Chief Financial Officer

and Secretary

Maria Mager brings over 30 years of financial, strategic and operational expertise in the Insurance Industry. Her unique background has given her the ability to quickly understand and adapt to complex insurance entities across all departments, including finance, data systems and administrative services. Within those units lie critical business functions including but not limited to financial reporting, internal operations, human resources, and information technology. She was also tasked with negotiations with State and Federal Agencies along with large multi-national Insurance and Reinsurance entities. 

Prior to joining Specialty Insurance, Maria worked for multiple domestic insurance companies where she held senior management positions within their finance and operations departments.

Ms. Mager is a graduate of Rider University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Philosophy. 

Vice President of Claims

CPCU, AIC, AIM, ARe

Dan Cameron brings over 30 years of Claims expertise working in the Insurance Industry. Before joining the NJ Liquidation office, he worked at The Hanover Insurance Company and Home State Insurance. Dan possesses a diverse skill set in Claims Management and became part of Specialty in 2023. Mr. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Albright College.  

Manager of Loss Control

Jeff Danielson has worked for Specialty Insurance Agency since 2006. Prior to joining the loss control department, Jeff worked as a Specialty Insurance Program Underwriter and has more than 20 years of commercial lines insurance industry experience. Mr. Danielson is a graduate of the University of Richmond and earned an Associate in Commercial Underwriting designation from The Institutes.

Regulatory Manager/Senior Underwriter

Annise Pyciak has been employed by Specialty Insurance Agency since 1997. Prior to joining Specialty, Annise held multiple positions in the banking industry, including branch management. Annise has worked as the liaison with Specialty's IT division, as well as with its carrier’s regulatory departments and has extensive underwriting experience. Mrs. Pyciak attended Rutgers University.
